This Week in Fashion: Sun Glasses by Madonna and Dolce & Gabbana

The Material Girl is putting her talents to use once again. From designing her junior clothing line for Macy’s, she’s joined forces with Dolce & Gabbana to create sun glasses and just in time for the summer.  The collection, which will consist of six pairs of stylish shades ranging from $248-$298, will bare the label MDG and are set to hit stores in May — just in time for Memorial Day.

The partnership marks the first co-branded project ever done by Dolce and Gabbana. First, the designers sketched the stylish shades, which were then edited and tweaked by Madonna for the collaboration. Madge, who is starring in the shade campaign, was shot by photographer Steven Klein.  The picture is a preview of the sunglasses!  Stefano Gabbana commented that this collaboration further strengthens their relationship with Madonna.

Madonna, who has starred in countless ad campaigns for her clothing line, and now with her new line of MDG eye wear, will really want to see you dressed from head to toe in her brand.  The sun glasses collaboration should promise to be a continued and exciting venture for her and D&G.
