A Summer in New York
It’s now time to start the long haul to planning our trip to New York, and as I make the necessary plans, I have already started focusing on what I’ll be wearing. I’ve lined up some pretty decent, but trendy and sexy ensembles that neither make me look too young or too old.
I’ll flying out to New York wearing this lovely Fifth Ave. cardigan in a tulip matched with and multi-bright rose woven from Chadwicks.com, worn with a pair of white capris from Jones New York.
The shoes I’ll be wearing during the flight, and to finish off the outfit looking as stylish as ever, are a bright rose flower sandal with a flower right on the toes, a 3 3/4 inch heel — which is actually low for me — but it’s elegant all the same and really adds flavor to the outfit. The shoes are from Chadwicks also.
While in New York, I’ll be sporting an ensemble from GUESS and from a couple of my favorite boutiques.
Oh, yes, stripes are definitely in this summer, so you’ll find me in some really cute blue-striped and lime green striped cuffed shorts with nice laced top tanks top and a pair of trendy flat tennis to “fit in with the crowd.”
I’ll be sure to take along my blue stripped skort by Jones New York as well, and at least one of my short and long summer dresses with the white leggings and my flat thong sandals that goes so well with both the dresses.
Flying back from New York, you won’t catch me improperly dressed, but wearing my sexy turquoise floral long summer dress and white high heel sandals, most likely gotten from Amiclubwear.com. Now let me tell you, the long turquoise dress is from FAME a really neat trendy store my daughter turned me on to. Summer wear! You can’t go wrong there.
Now it’s a matter of pinning down what my little lady will be wearing. She’s looking to go with the colorful skinny jeans, v-cut T-shirts, plain and plaid flat tennis, and perhaps a pair of shorts or two…with her one can’t tell. She’s really a skinny jeans girl and determined to get herself a pair of white ones to dress it up for the summer.
Whatever we wear, you can be sure we’ll be the best dressed mother and daughter team of the city.
