It’s Snake Suede, Baby!

April 12, 2010

Back in the day, my idea of buying snake skin shoes were in the form of pumps.  I was never a suede shoe person — too hard to keep clean and the upkeep was horrible.

But today, whether genuine snake skin or not, leather or not, you will find snake skin an array of colors, styles and designs coming a long, long way from the 80’s when there seemed to be some limit on choices.

These are my latest must haves, coming to you once again from   These sultry beauties are snake embossed faux suede upper in a platform sandal style with a round peep toe, open shank, thin ankle strap with adjustable buckle closure.  Offers a smooth lining and cushioned footbed.  Has a 1 inch wrapped platform midsole and 4 3/4 inch heel.   Very sexy.  Great summer shoes.  Can wear to the office with a nice skirt suit or capris ensemble.  Can be ideal for wearing for a night out on the town.

The original price was $24.99, but you can get them for $12.99 and while supplies last.  Sometimes if they are out of stock, they will restock certain shoes, but not all.  Through to the end of today, you can get a 25% discount off the entire site.  These cost me with shipping and handling $18.05.  Order $50 or more and receive free shipping, but keep in mind that they cannot combine discounts so it’s one or the other.  I don’t worry too much about the shipping because I am right here in Los Angeles and their base address is City of Industry which is about a 30 minute trip just beyond Downtown Los Angeles.  And they have great prices and discounts that shipping is never a concern.

When I get these beauties, I’ll try them out and report back to you on how I like them.
