The Fashion Sense of Bras

May 3, 2010

The most best next thing to your favorite pair of jeans are the bra strap concealers.  You know the ones I’m talking about.  These are the handy doo-dads you can clip to the back of your bra straps and hide them out of the way when you’re wearing your favorite t-strap T-shirt, or that summer dress you need to hide away the bra straps with or simply wear a strapless bra.

Known most famously as the Braza Magic Clip or Strap Perfect(TM) (as seen on TV), it’s a necessary undergarment item that we can’t do with out.  It’s adjustable, said to be good for posture support, is a racerback converter, can provide breast support and boost, doesn’t show in your clothes when worn, while neatly tucking your bra straps out of the way.  When you’re wearing that turquoise bra with that pretty black chiffon dress with the T-strap in the back, you can get away with wearing it as long as you got the clip to “tuck and hide” and not have me driving by or walking by shaking my head because you’ve simply made a fashion faux pas.

While I’m on the subject of bras, allow me to re-emphasize that your fuschia bra straps don’t need to be showing when you wear that racerback tank or cami.  Another handy fashion accessory to have is the clear bra straps.  A good substitute to wearing those color bra straps.  Wear bras with removable straps and not ready to buy whole new bras?  Not to worry!  You can buy the clear straps alone to attach to your bras without having to buy a whole new one.  They don’t cost a lot of money and are a good fashion investment.

It is a pet peeve of mine to see women strutting their stuff, wearing that out-of-this-world outfit, and can visibly see that dreaded bra strap because they didn’t take the time to make sure they were properly put together.  Cover it, please!  Use common fashion this year.  Invest in the bra converter and/or get yourself some clear straps with or without the bra.  Don’t bring down the quality of the outfit by not using common fashion sense.
