Florals in Bloom

June 3, 2010

Once again I took a look through my shoe collection and pulled these hotties out.  Take a walk with me in these gorgeously made high heel sandals.  Believe it or not I bought these shoes two years ago, and this is only the second time I’ve worn them.  Of course there was an outfit I purposely bought them for because the colors were just right.  And summer seemed like the right season, too.

I bought these from Shiekh Shoes at the Baldwin Hills Crenshaw Plaza.  At the time they came in five colors.  The floral design as as seen here, yellow, fuschia, white and black.  But I liked the floral design better because of the base blue color, and how the yellow, white and greens just flows right into the color.  Clearly I’m strutting my stuff.

I bought this top, but in white (see below), from Chadwick’s along with a nice blue skirt, which is where the shoes come in to play.  The skirt has a front zipper with three fasteners, double splits in the back and two small pockets.  I came very close to duplicating the entire outfit, though, by getting the skirt you, too, the model is wearing with the top in the picture, but also in blue, except that they were out of stock of that particular skirt when I ordered the top, so I went another direction with the skirt overall.  Again, I bought the outfit two years ago right before I purchased the shoes.  Also during the summer.

So you can say with the shoes, this outfit comes together in full focus.

About the shoes.  They have a 5-inch heel, about a half-inch platform.  The heel is covered, has a semi-cushioned foot bed.  There is the bow that comes joined at the middle just over the toes.  The heel and the platform are blue and the rest of the patent leather material is printed in the floral pattern.  Dress them up or dress them down with ready for work gear, or going out to play jeans with a sassy top.

I get a lot of rave reviews when I wear these — the two times I’ve worn them now.  These were certainly a must have, great buy, and a great find.
